Use 2023 Discretionary Day by Dec. 23
The 2023 Discretionary Day must be used by Dec. 23.
For eligible employees whose last workday of the week is Friday, the last day to use the 2023 Discretionary Day is Dec. 22. For employees whose last workday of the week is Saturday, the last day to use the 2023 Discretionary Day is Dec. 23. Employees must have the approval of their supervisors when scheduling their Discretionary Day.
To determine if the Discretionary Day is still available, log in to HRIS Employee Self Service. Once logged in, click on Employee Self Service > View Leave Balances. "D-Day" will appear on the View Leave Balances page if the Discretionary Day is still available, even though the hours aren't displayed. The 2024 Discretionary Day will be available for use beginning Dec. 24, 2023.
