On Tuesday, April 25, the K-State percussion ensembles will share the stage with an all-star ensemble composed of high school students from across the stage. The concert, which will take place at 7:30 p.m. on the McCain Auditorium stage, is free and open to the public.

All participating high school percussionists were nominated by their band directors as standout members of their schools' ensembles. Participating students include Daniela Gutierrez and Beth Harman from Dodge City High School; August Siefkes from Great Bend High School; Maggie Turner from Holton High School; Jasmine Palmer, Sebastian Schultz and Ricardo Zapata-Lopez from Junction City High School; Zeke Gaddie and Ryan Woodruff from Maize South High School; Cole Parsons from Manhattan High School; Tyrus Staats from Pratt High School; Noah Andrews and Carl Russell from Seaman High School; Nathan Koupal from Rock Creek High School; Layne DeLong from St. Marys High School; and David Aguilar, Wyatt Huyett and Carlos Olivas from Turner High School.

K-State percussion ensembles are directed by Neil Dunn and Kurt Gartner. Graduate teaching assistant Jack Johnson and undergraduate student Brandon Wells, both of whom are in their final semester on campus, also coach works for this concert.
