Thrive Navigators offering The Bandana Project open training

Submitted by Shawn Funk

Willie Green Bandana

The Thrive Navigators, a departmental student organization under the leadership of Lafene Health Center, will be offering two more open training sessions this semester for The Bandana Project.

The next session is scheduled for 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 11, in Kramer Hall's Rocky Ford Room, and the last open session will be at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 25, in Town Hall, 114 Staley School of Leadership.

The Bandana Project is a mental health awareness and suicide prevention campaign to support peers in getting help. Its efforts raise awareness of help resources, normalize and de-stigmatize getting help, and provide invaluable, unspoken solidarity with those struggling with their mental health.

Sign up for The Bandana Project training if you are interested in learning more about this national campaign.
