The African Students Union, a registered departmental student organization, will host the 2023 Africa Night on Saturday, April 8.

The event begins at 5 p.m. with a cultural exhibition in the K Ballroom on the second floor of the K-State Student Union while the main event begins at 6 p.m. in the Main Ballroom.

The event is a celebration of food, dance, music and entertainment in the format of a make-believe wedding party. Wedding ceremonies in African cultures are an elaborate show and celebration of the union of not just the couple, but families and communities.

Join the African Students Union in your most regal attire and dancing shoes.
