S.A.F.E. Zone, in the Department of Diversity and Multicultural Student Affairs, invites anyone to participate in the S.A.F.E. Zone Advanced Workshop: "Providing Access and Inclusion with the Student Access Center" hosted by the Student Access Center from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Thursday, March 30, via Zoom.

The workshop will cover procedures and best practices for recognizing student needs in the classroom and supporting students with disabilities to attain resources. Presenters also will review how to connect students with the Student Access Center and updates related to the center.

Register online for the March 30 Advanced Safe Zone Workshop.

S.A.F.E. Zone continues to be part of Kansas State University's efforts to create an open and affirming campus. S.A.F.E. Zone provides a comprehensive and ever-evolving effort to fit the needs of current K-State community members. Allies acknowledge a variety of backgrounds and identities while teaching about navigating exclusionary acts like intimidation, micro and macro aggressions, discrimination, LGBTQ-related concerns and sexual violence.
