Reminder: K-State Alerts test today

Submitted by Communications and Marketing

As part of Severe Weather Preparedness Week, the university will test the K-State Alerts system following the statewide tornado siren test at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 7.

The test will include emails, text messages for those who have opted in, automated phone calls, push notifications through the Rave Guardian mobile app, university websites and digital signs, Alertus beacons and Facebook and Twitter posts.

Following the test, a survey will be distributed to K-State Alerts users via email to evaluate the effectiveness of the test.

Learn how to sign up to receive text messages and modify your settings.

Read the K-State Alerts FAQ page for more information.
