Berumen, Moncayo-Michel and Paz to present "Microaggressions and their impact"

Graciela Berumen, assistant director of diversity and multicultural student engagement, Karina Moncayo-Michel, program assistant, Staley School of Leadership, and Rebeca Paz, assistant director, Office of First-generation Students, will present the Need-to-Know event "Microaggressions and their impact."

The presentation will be from noon to 1 p.m. today, Wednesday, March 1, via Zoom as part of the Teaching and Learning Center's Professional Development Series.

In this interactive online workshop, participants will learn to identify microaggressions and their impact regardless of the intent. Berumen, Moncayo-Michel and Paz will explore identifying and mitigating microaggressions in the classroom and the work environment.
