Record number of graduate students registered for 2023 Three Minute Thesis
Eighty-five graduate students are registered for the Three Minute Thesis, or 3MT, Competition, which will take place in February 2023. Participation is at an all-time high for the 2023 event, with more than double the number of students who participated in the 2022 competition. Additionally, a record number of colleges — eight — and graduate programs — 37 — are represented by the registrants. Thirty-nine master's students and 46 doctoral students will participate in the competition.

- Agriculture, 26.
- Arts and Sciences, 22.
- Engineering, 15.
- Health and Human Sciences, 13.
- Veterinary Medicine, five.
- Architecture, Planning and Design, two.
- Business Administration, one.
- Education, one.

Mark your calendar for this year's competition — Feb. 8 and Feb. 22, 2023. It will be a full day of presentations for the first round of competition on Feb. 8. Session schedules will be available in January. Selected participants will advance to the final round of competition at 5:30 p.m. on Feb. 22 in the K-State Alumni Center Banquet Room.
