DCM to offer monthly Social Media Roundtable sessions to staff, faculty

Submitted by News and Communications Services

The Division of Communications and Marketing will begin offering monthly Social Media Roundtable sessions to university staff and faculty interested in attending. The sessions will be held virtually and occur on the third Thursday of each month from 11 a.m. to noon. The various topics discussed in the sessions will surround social media and managing a university-affiliated social media account.

The first session, "Social Media and Brand," will occur on Oct. 20 and include presentations from the university's Social Media Specialist Lindley Lund and Creative Director Ben Cleveland. This session will offer tips and tricks regarding the university's new social media policy, social media best practices and ensuring the university's brand in social media content. There will also be an opportunity for attendees to ask questions.

To receive the Zoom link for the session, please RSVP via email to socialmedia@k-state.edu.
