Brunk to present 'Creating Accessible Documents'

Submitted by Ashley A. Schiffer

Angie Brunk, assistant professor and academic services librarian, will present a Need-To-Know event, "Creating Accessible Documents," from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12, via Zoom as part of the Teaching and Learning Center's Professional Development Series.

This presentation will demystify the creation of accessible documents. Many tools and resources are available to you at K-State that will make creating accessible syllabi, assignments and PowerPoints a natural part of your workflow. Have an old PDF you want to use, but it was not properly prepared? We have easy-to-use tools that will simplify converting to an accessible format. Contemporary office software programs, such as Word and PowerPoint, have built-in tools to make creating accessible documents easy. You will learn to use these tools and where to find support for creating accessible content in this presentation.

The events in the Professional Development Series are free and no registration is required.
