Regents systemwide job satisfaction survey

Submitted by University Support Staff Senate and Professional Staff Affairs Committee

Dear colleagues,

On Tuesday, April 5, all university support staff and unclassified professional staff will receive an email with a link to a short survey about job satisfaction. The email will come from Mike Walker of the Docking Institute at Fort Hays State University, docking@fhsu.edu.

We want to assure you that this email from Walker at the Docking Institute is legitimate and encourage you to participate in the survey.

This survey is being sent to unclassified professional and university support staff at the six Regent universities in Kansas. It is a follow-up to a similar survey in 2019, which allows us to evaluate and track changes over time.

This survey is completely confidential and your honest answers are extremely important. Once the survey has closed, systemwide aggregate data will be shared with the Kansas Board of Regents. In addition, K-State's University Support Staff Senate and the Professional Staff Affairs Committee will receive an aggregate report specifically about our university.

The university's aggregate data will be shared with K-State's administration to inform them about items revealed through the survey that can be improved or changed to bolster morale.

Please take the time to respond to the survey. The resulting data is crucial to working toward change both on our campus and at the statewide level. If you do not find the email and believe you should have received it, please check your junk, spam or other inboxes.

Thank you in advance for taking the time to complete the survey. Please reach out to us if you have specific questions.

Sincerely,
Mary Oborny
