Big 12 Faculty Fellowship Program now accepting applications

Submitted by Tanya Gonzalez

A reminder that the Big 12 Faculty Fellowship Award applications for the 2022-2023 academic year are due to the Office of the Provost by Feb. 1, 2022.

Big 12 fellowships provide up to $2,500 for expenses related to a visit by a faculty member to another Big 12 institution. All full-time tenured and tenure-track faculty are eligible to apply. Tenure-track faculty who are in their first two years of appointment at K-State are also eligible to apply for the mentoring fellowship.

Detailed information about the applications for this award is available on the Office of the Provost homepage. Applications should be submitted electronically in PDF format to provounivawards@k-state.edu. Notification will be provided to faculty by June 15, 2022. These awards are an excellent opportunity for all faculty to increase their network of collaborators and use resources available at other institutions.

Please note that a letter of invitation from the host institution must accompany the application.

The list of the faculty who have participated in this program since it began in spring 1997 includes each individual's name, department, a short description of the project and the Big 12 university visited.

Please contact me at tgonzale@k-state.edu if you have any questions. Thanks for your help.

Sincerely,

Tanya González
Interim Associate Provost for Institutional Effectiveness
