HealthQuest announces COVID-19 vaccine incentive

Submitted by Jason Talbert

Earlier this month, the State of Kansas Health Care Commission voted to provide an incentive of three HealthQuest credits for members who receive a COVID-19 vaccination and report it through the HealthQuest portal. This applies to all members who received a vaccination in 2021, even if it was before this announcement.

HealthQuest is in the process of emailing members to announce the new incentive, and members may already self-report vaccinations through the portal. Once logged in, click on the "Did you get your COVID-19 vaccination?" tile on the right side of the screen and complete the short questionnaire. Credits will be awarded instantly. Questions regarding this program should be routed directly to SEHPHealthQuest@ks.gov.

Vaccination against COVID-19 is an effective way for individuals to support their own health and the health and wellness of the K-State community and our host communities. You can learn more about the vaccines by visiting kansasvaccine.gov and locate a vaccination site by visiting vaccines.gov. Lafene Health Center continues to offer COVID-19 vaccination opportunities for K-State students, faculty and staff. Appointments are required and can be made on the myLafene+ patient portal or by calling Lafene Health Center at 785-532-6544.
