MPH students develop COVID-19 educational materials

Submitted by Ellyn Mulcahy

Students in the K-State Master of Public Health program have completed a public health practice project for their degree with a public health agency. As part of the MPH program accreditation, students are required to create products or deliverables in the form of educational materials, communication plans or other products chosen from a wide array of options.

During this time of changing schedules and stay-at-home orders, MPH students have used their skills in public health, communication and leadership to develop accurate informational posters for different audiences on topics of how COVID-19 impacts us. Students from the four different MPH emphasis areas — food safety and biosecurity, infectious diseases and zoonoses, public health nutrition, public health physical activity — have crafted these messages using their specific public health knowledge. Please see their work on the MPH program website.
