COVID-19 and face mask training

Submitted by Christina Aguilera

Essential employees working on university property during the stay-at-home order — especially those who are unable to maintain a six-foot distance from others during the course of their work activities — should wear a face covering and be familiar with the signs and symptoms of COVID-19.

New online training is available that provides basic information about COVID-19, symptoms of infection and what to do to reduce risk. The training also explains the different types of protective face masks, their limitations, when and how these should be worn at work and acceptable alternatives to purchased face masks.

Take the self-paced training. No registration is needed. Do not turn off audio or some content will be missed.

Information and general guidance for all K-Stater's is available at the COVID-19 website under safety. Downloadable guidance on face masks also is available.
