K-State virtual Earth Day is April 22

Submitted by Gerry Snyder

The annual K-State Earth Day fair will take place online from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 22. The come-and-go event will celebrate 50 years of Earth Day. The theme for Earth Day 2020 is climate action. The Zoom link will be available on the Students for Environmental Action website.

The online event features K-State student clubs, Kansas and community groups and several awesome keynote speakers for a fun and informative day of environmental awareness.

K-State Earth Day is organized by Students for Environmental Action, a registered independent student organization. The student organization is dedicated to a healthy, sustainable and environmentally conscious campus and community. By participating in Earth Day, this gives us a chance to pause in our busy lives and to reflect as well as to act toward a better, greener and more sustainable planet. Let's make every day Earth Day.
