2020 Kyle Pelton Student Employee of the Year
Congrats to Katie Buhler!
The K-State Career Center wishes to congratulate Katie Buhler, student coordinator for the Staley School of Leadership Studies, on her selection as winner of the Kyle Pelton Student Employee of the Year Award.
Buhler, four finalists and 50 nominees were honored April 8 in a live video hosted on the Career Center Facebook page. Supervisors and department heads at K-State's three campuses nominated these exceptional student workers, all of whom displayed reliability, initiative and professionalism in their positions, as well as a defining story that distinguished them from the competition.
Of the many students nominated, five were chosen as finalists: Buhler; Josema Cabanas, student leader for Housing and Dining Services (Kramer Dining Center); Jacob Cowart, undergraduate researcher/remote data analyst for the Applied Aviation Research Center (K-State Polytechnic); Kaylie McLaughlin, editor-in-chief for the Collegian Media Group; and Anna Wines, office assistant for the Office of Institutional Equity.
