Submitted by Communications and Marketing

There is one confirmed case of COVID-19 in Riley County. Julie Gibbs, local health officer, has prohibited all public gatherings of more than 10 people indoors and outdoors throughout Riley County with specific exemptions. The order went into effect as of Saturday, March 21, and will last until at least April 4.

Read the Riley County March 21 announcement and the March 22 revised order for more information, including exemptions and potential fines for violating the order.

There may be similar orders in other counties. Check with local county health departments for more information.
