Larry Snyder to present Anatomy and Physiology Seminar

Orman "Larry" Snyder, graduate research assistant in the laboratory of Mark Weiss, will present "Development of a Corneal Wound Model" at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 4, in the Mara Conference Center, 407 Trotter Hall.

Snyder graduated from Kansas State University with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. As a graduate student, he is researching stem cell biology, specifically EV clinical effects, under Weiss. He is from Topeka.

Snyder's presentation will focus on the development of a cadaveric porcine corneal wound healing model. Establishment of a successful method of in vivo corneal wound healing for 72 hours was attained.
