Celebration of life for Alberto B. Broce

A celebration of life for Alberto B. Broce, emeritus professor of entomology, will take place at 2 p.m. May 2 at College Avenue United Methodist Church, 1609 College Ave. in Manhattan. Broce died peacefully from complications associated with Parkinson's disease on Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2019, at his residence in Tucson, Arizona.
Broce joined the Kansas State University entomology department in 1979. He attained full professor by 1987 and over the next 29 years, built a successful and highly productive research career at K-State.
