Faculty Recital Series: Piano music from Argentina

The School of Music, Theatre, and Dance will present a recital of piano music from Argentina by Agustin Muriago  at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 11, in All Faiths Chapel. The recital will feature works based on traditional Argentine dance rhythms such as tango and milonga by Alberto Ginastera, Carlos Guastavino and José Resta, among other composers.

Faculty in the School of Music, Theatre, and Dance have received Grammy Awards and nominations, and Emmy Awards; produced recordings on international and national CD labels; published books and journal articles with international and national publishing houses and professional organizations; and performed and presented research in every continent in the world, except Antarctica.
