Collaborative Communication for Supervisors offered Oct. 22

Collaborative Communication for Supervisors will be offered from 8-10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 22, in the K-State Alumni Center Banquet Room C.
This session focuses on communication and decision-making, highlighting ways that communication can facilitate or hinder collaborative decision-making practices in the workplace.
Participants will gain the following from the session:
- Identify and practice effective listening, dialogue and decision-making techniques.
- Identify and analyze common communication barriers in order to navigate conflicts in the workplace.
- Apply techniques and strategies to become more skilled in interpersonal communication.
You must be a current supervisor of university support staff or unclassified professionals to attend this session. This session is offered in conjunction with the K-State Supervisory Foundations Pillar I: Establishing Your Supervisory Foundation certificate program, therefore, seating is limited.
