KPERS offers preretirement webinars

The Kansas Public Employees Retirement System will offer live preretirement webinars for KPERS Tier 1 and Tier 2 members as well as Kansas Police and Firemen's Retirement System members, known as KP&F. These live webinars are offered once per quarter. There are several sessions available.
Topics covered during the webinar include:
- Choosing a retirement date.
- How to calculate your benefit.
- Steps in the process.
- Payment options.
- Taxes.
- Life Insurance.
You can register for a live webinar or a fall seminar on the KPERS website. If you aren't available during the live webinar, you can also watch a previously recorded session on-demand.
The KPERS website is a great source for pre-retirement information.
