KAWSE welcomes new program coordinator Morgan Greene

Submitted by Chardie L. Baird

The Kansas State Office for the Advancement of Women in Science and Engineering, or KAWSE, welcomes Morgan Greene to its team and to K-State.

Greene graduated as a university honors scholar with a bachelor's degree in forestry and a minor in Spanish from Colorado State University and completed her master's degree in environmental policy and management from the University of Denver in 2019. She has experience developing educational opportunities for students in areas ranging from natural resources to cultural history. During her time working at the Nisqually River Foundation, she worked with tribal members, nonprofits, private citizens, agency officials, and elected officials to help develop a complex, inclusive plan for opening a recreational area that balanced the needs of multiple constituents.

Her first day as KAWSE program coordinator was April 29.
