Fire extinguisher training dates for summer 2019

The Environmental Health and Safety Department suggests annual Fire Extinguisher Training, WTD159, for all university employees. This training will be offered several times this summer.

Prior to attending this training session, you must complete a fire extinguisher online training course. Upon completion of the online course, you will receive a certificate. Please sign and date the printed certificate and bring it with you to the classroom training session.

The training is free to participants, but registration is necessary to ensure adequate seating and materials. Maximum attendance for each session is 15.

All sessions will take place in 11 Edwards Hall on the following dates and times: 9-10 a.m. Tuesday, May 14; 1-2 p.m. Tuesday, May 28; 9-10 a.m. Tuesday, June 11; 1-2 p.m. Tuesday, June 25; 9-10 a.m. Tuesday, July 9; 1-2 p.m. Tuesday, July 23; 9-10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13; and 1-2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 27.

Participants may register through HRIS self-service or send an email to Megan Hoelting at learning-develop-hr@k-state.edu. When sending an email, please include your name, employee ID, course title (WTD159) and date desired.
