Carr named 2018-2019 GLADD Campus Ambassador

Adam Carr, senior in human resource management in the College of Business Administration, has been recognized as a GLAAD — Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation — Campus Ambassador.

Carr joins an expanded group of 143 student leaders from 42 states to lead GLAAD's efforts in inclusive programming and media to enable change in the recognition and affirmation of LGBTQ and allied youth and students in higher education. He joins an elite team of leaders from across the country and represents the K-State family.

Carr's involvement and achievements at K-State include former president of the Sexuality and Gender Alliance; former Diversity Programming Council member; Diversity 2025 Student Planning Committee; Midwest Bisexual, Lesbian, Gay, Trans*, Allied College Conference representative for the state of Kansas; and employee of Hale Library and the LGBT Resource Center. His experiences and devotion as a Wildcat help to create national awareness of the K-State commitment to diversity and inclusion initiatives.
