Movement Challenge week two results are in

Submitted by Human Capital Services

Week two of the Movement Challenge results are in.

It's not too late to join in on the Movement Challenge. The annual K-State Movement Challenge offers two ways for departments to compete. At the end of the challenge, the Movement Challenge team will name one department the winner of highest activity and one department the winner of highest participation.

Each week includes an additional challenge for participants. The week two challenge was to do something active with a co-worker. Two winners were selected at random for a wellness prize. Cassandra Schnarr won a Fitbit for participating in the challenge and Sara Keatley won a wellness prize for her participation on social media.

The week two leaders:

Department activity:

  1. Aerospace studies
  2. College of Veterinary Medicine
  3. K-State Polytechnic — School of Integrated Studies

Department participation:

  1. K-State Olathe
  2. Lafene Health Center
  3. Recreational Services

Individual activity:

  1. Mary McHugh
  2. Beverly Price
  3. Tammy Recey

Congratulations to the week two leaders! See more information about the Movement Challenge on the Live Your Best website.

Participants who complete all five weeks will be awarded four HealthQuest credits and corresponding HSA/HRA contributions at the end of the challenge. Random drawings for wellness-related prizes also will take place for participants and those who engage through social media using the hashtag #PurpleIsProgress.
