K-State Orchestra to present 'The Prairie Ascendant' tonight
The K-State Orchestra will present "The Prairie Ascendant," composed by Laurel Littrell, professor at the K-State Libraries, at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 20, in McCain Auditorium as part of the Prairie Studies Initiative.
The work depicts the prairie throughout time, accompanied by images that illuminate the art, science and events of the prairie.
