Maggie Borders joins McNair Scholars Program as program specialist
The McNair Scholars Program welcomed Maggie Borders as writing skills specialist and student services coordinator in summer 2017. She is responsible for tutoring writing skills and providing academic support services for McNair Scholars. Borders also helps identify and verify potential scholars for the program.
Borders has seven years of experience in teaching English at K-State as a graduate teaching assistant and, most recently, as an instructor. Borders earned a Bachelor of Arts in creative writing with a minor in women's and gender studies from the University of North Texas and a Master of Arts in English emphasizing creative writing from K-State.
