Submitted by Thom Jackson

An exhibit of work completed by students in the College of Architecture, Planning & Design who participated in spring and summer 2016 study abroad programs is on display through Oct. 21 in Seaton Hall's Chang Gallery.

The exhibition is free and open to the public and the gallery is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays.

According to Lynn Ewanow, professor, associate dean and director of international programs for the college, students in architecture, interior architecture & product design, landscape architecture and regional & community planning, the experience of living and studying in unfamiliar environments heightens cultural and historical awareness; improves self-reliance; encourages better understanding of global economics, politics and societies; and broadens professional horizons.

"The College of Architecture, Planning & Design is committed to enhancing the study abroad experience for its students and supporting the emphasis on international education, which is part of K-State's strategic plan," Ewanow said.
