How can you recycle your disks and hard drives?
Facilities recycling will take your old CDs, floppy disks and hard drives and recycle them. They have a degausser that will erase all the info on your hard drive. CDs, floppy disks and other media are shredded. You must remove your hard drive from you computer in order to turn it in. Hard drives must be accompanied by a DA110 or letter or disposal.
Drop off your media at the Recycling Center, from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday-Friday. For more information, call Facilities at 532-6446 or visit http://www.k-state.edu/recycling/.
