Honor and Integrity System update
I wish to announce a transition in our Honor and Integrity System here at Kansas State University. After seven years, David Allen has stepped away from the position of director of the Honor and Integrity System office. Dr. Allen has given great leadership, consistent and careful commitment to the program and I sincerely thank him. The responsibilities of the director are many: education and training, receiving violation reports, investigating and reporting. Dr. Allen has done all these things thoughtfully and thoroughly. I wish David the very best as he has assumed new full-time responsibilities in the College of Education.
I am pleased to announce that associate director Camilla Roberts has agreed to serve as interim director after a December 2011 internal search for a new permanent director was unsuccessful. Roberts has been with the Honor and Integrity System for three years, giving leadership to the education arm of its activity. I thank Dr. Roberts sincerely for seamlessly filling the gap and agreeing to serve as interim director for this spring 2012 semester. I will again conduct an internal search for the director position this spring and ask all to consider nominating potential candidates.
Please join me in thanking David Allen and Camilla Roberts for their many contributions to our Honor and Integrity System.
