Newsham hired as benefits specialist
Catherine Newsham is joining K-State's benefits team. Newsham has been hired as a benefits administrator and will start in this role immediately. She has worked for the university for several months in a temporary role and has provided assistance for all areas of benefits.
Newsham has an extensive background in administration in defined benefit and defined contribution plans. She has worked for Wyatt Watson, Security Benefit and most recently J.P. Morgan Retirement Plan Services. In an effort to provide a holistic customer service experience, Newsham will provide support to K-State employees in all areas of benefits. However, her primary responsibility will be in the area of retirement programs. She will report to Amanda McDiffett, director of benefits.
