Matthias Leopold, School of Earth and Environment at the University of Western Australia, will present a Critical Zone Workshop Invited Seminar at 4 p.m. Sept. 8 in 213 Thompson Hall.

Leopold will discuss "The critical zone architecture in a high alpine area: Permafrost degradation and possible hydrological consequences documented at the Boulder Creek Critical Zone Observatory, USA."
