Stored Product Pest Management: A RefWorks database

Submitted by Donna Schenck-Hamlin

Stored product entomologists study more than 1,600 species of insects that have been a threat to food supplies throughout human history. The Stored Product Protection literature, however, has not been databased separately from field crop protection literature until now.

David Hagstrum, K-State professor emeritus and author of more than 130 publications in the field, has collected more than 28,000 references to this international literature into the RefWorks platform licensed to all K-State affiliates.

A link on the K-State entomology department website provides access, search and download references to articles on the biology, behavior, ecology and control of stored product insects.

Full text publications of these references licensed to K-State may be sought by K-State students, faculty and staff using the Get It links enabled in their Refworks version of the database.

For assistance using this database or the Refworks platform in general, please contact David Hagstrum at hgstr@k-state.edu or Donna Schenck-Hamlin at donnash@k-state.edu.
