Cortez presents at University of Michigan on K-State's Developing Scholars Program
Anita Cortez, director of undergraduate research, was invited to the 25th anniversary celebration of the Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor on March 14.
She participated in a panel discussion of undergraduate research and presented on the Developing Scholars Program, an undergraduate research program at K-State, which focuses on high-achieving, underrepresented undergraduates. The Developing Scholars Program was fashioned after the Michigan Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program in 2000.
The K-State developing scholars will also present their research from 1:30-3:30 p.m. April 13, in the K-State Student Union Ballroom.
