Make time for you this Health and Well-being Month

Three students are pictured standing behind bags of soil, each student holding newly potted flowers. On the left, a student with long brown hair wearing a gray T-shirt holds a purple flower; in the middle, a student with short blonde hair wearing a hat and sunglasses gives a thumbs up while holding white flowers; at right, a student with blonde and yellow-tipped hair wearing a beret and barrettes smiles to the side and holds pink flowers. Other students mill about in the background.

Health and Well-being Month features many opportunities for students to prioritize their wellness.

October is Health and Well-being Month at K-State, a chance to invest in your wellness so that you can thrive in all aspects of your life. The Division of Academic Success and Student Affairs offers resources to help you be your best self.

Throughout the month, check out events designed to help you recharge, reset and refocus:

  • Join First Lady Linton for a Refuel and Refocus Hour to tackle a task you’ve been putting off.
  • Decorate pumpkins with friends at Fall Fest.
  • Make a plan for Wildcat Pause Day on Oct. 17.
  • Meet Oakley the therapy dog at the Morrison Family Center for Student Well-being.

A full list of events is available on the Health and Well-being website.
