Kansas State University employees are paid on a bi-weekly payroll basis. In total, there are 26 pay periods each year for 12-month employees and 20 pay periods for 9-month employees.

Paycheck Deductions
For the third paycheck paid in the month, vacation leave does not accrue for unclassified faculty and staff. Premiums for group health insurance, KPERS Optional Group Life Insurance, TEA life insurance and contributions to the KanElect flexible spending accounts will not be deducted from this third paycheck.
Similarly, no double deductions for 9-month employees are taken from this paycheck.
