Bachelor's Degree in Integrated Computer Science

B.A. or B.S. in integrated computer science; minor

The integrated computer science program combines practical programming skills with the study of technology’s cultural, ethical and artistic effects on the world. It prepares students to work as computer programmers in fields outside of tech development.

The K-State difference

K-State’s integrated computer science program is unique in that it is a full bachelor’s degree in computer science, rather than a certificate or “boot camp” completion. The curriculum builds applicable programming skills without heavy math prerequisites and integrates a concentration in the students’ field of choice outside the realm of computers.

Students work closely with the program director and an academic advisor to achieve their goals and prepare for their career.

Did you know?

Integrated computer science students can join any of the student organizations in the Computer Science department, including participating in the 36 hour "K-State Hackathon," an event organized by students to show off tech skills.
