IT Security

September 9 at 10 a.m.

Join the IT Security team as they discuss things you can do to increase your computer security on campus. From Email dangers and creating strong passwords to keeping your laptop safe from thieves, they'll show you how the most important part of the security team at K-State is you.

Online Tools

September 14 at 2 p.m.

K-State Online, the Survey System, Oracle Calendar, and K-State Zimbra are just a few of the online tools available at K-State. Learn all about them and more in this session.

K-State Information Systems

September 22 at 2 p.m.

iSIS, the K-State Student Information System and HRIS, the Human Resource Information System are two important systems you should know about. In this session you'll learn what kind of information can be found and what tasks can be performed in each of these systems.

Curious about the ECC's broad capabilities and how they can help tell your story? The ECC is a full service media production facility providing services from design through distribution; however they are not just a house full of gear. Their skilled professionals help diverse clients create and present their messages to the world. Learn about high-end video production (in-studio and remote), broadcast and distribution options, integrating video and animation into multimedia applications, package and set design, interactive web development, and K-State TV.

Intro. to Computing at K-State

In this session you'll learn the basics of using a computer at K-State, including basic computer terminology, how to access resources from home, how to get service on your department and personal computers, and how to keep your data safe should your computer break.

Library Technology
