Undergraduate student mentors needed for the College of Business Summer Institute

Submitted by Haley Ahlers

The College of Business is accepting applications for undergraduate student mentors to support the College of Business Summer Institute hosted June 8-10 on the Manhattan campus.

Our summer mentors will work with small groups of high school students throughout the three-day institute to support all program activities. Mentor training will occur on June 7 and mentors will receive a stipend of $750 for the duration of their assistance.

As a member of the College of Business summer staff, mentors will have the opportunity to serve as role models and provide supervision during institute activities and overnight stays in the residence halls. Housing and dining will be provided. The job description and link to apply are available on the College of Business Administration website.

The Summer Institute will host 30 rising high school students in grades 10-12 from across the state to experience life as a K-State College of Business student.

Please contact the Center for Principled Business with any questions about the institute or serving as a mentor, at ksucpb@k-state.edu or 785-532-1305.
