Updates on COVID-19 in K-State communities; compliance survey starts next week

Submitted by Division of Communications and Marketing

Kansas State University continues to track and evaluate COVID-19 data in our community. Every week, the university is updating the online dashboard that tracks COVID-19 data in university-connected communities. The newest data will be uploaded on Wednesday, Aug. 25.

The university also will begin the COVID-19 compliance survey for faculty and staff on Monday, Aug. 30. A K-State Today announcement will include a survey link and faculty and staff are invited to complete the first compliance survey of the semester before it closes on Wednesday, Sept. 1.

The survey will be administered every two weeks through the fall semester. Survey responses are anonymous and the data collected will be used to help measure compliance for health and wellness policies and to inform communication and education efforts.

K-State is using 10 indicators and additional data to determine if and when changes to the university's operating status are necessary for the health and safety of the community. Data for each topic and indicator is collected and analyzed multiple times per week to provide updated information so leadership can make proactive decisions as quickly as possible.
