Fall 2021 application is open for International Buddies
The fall 2021 application is open for International Buddies, a registered departmental student organization.
International Buddies is a program that matches international students and U.S. students together to promote friendship and cross-cultural exchange. International Buddies gives participants an opportunity to learn about other languages and cultures, improve their English-speaking skills for those not from a native English-speaking country, and make lasting friendships. Each group will consist of approximately four buddies.
If you are interested in becoming involved with International Buddies for the fall 2021 semester, please scan the attached QR code or fill out the online application. The survey should take no more than five to seven minutes and the information you provide will help match you with peer buddies who share similar interests.
All our large group events are planned to be completely in-person this semester. The first event will be a Game Night and Meet and Greet at 6 p.m. Sept. 17. Small buddy groups can meet all online, all in-person, or a combination of both — whatever you are most comfortable with.
The applications will close at 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 3.
