Join Your Wildcat Welcome at K-State Libraries

K-State Libraries is offering students several exciting events to participate in during Your Wildcat Welcome, from Friday, Aug. 20, through Thursday, Aug. 26.

Below is a full list of events for students to attend; you can find this list and more details on our event webpage.

At multiple K-State Libraries locations:

  • Getting Started with K-State Libraries, Aug. 20 from 2-4 p.m. Visit one of our participating library locations to meet our staff, explore our spaces, get helpful information, grab some fun giveaways and ask us questions.

At Hale Library:

  • Hale Library tours, Aug. 23-27. Get a quick 20-minute tour of the newly renovated Hale Library.
  • Map Your Path at Hale Library, Aug. 26 from 4-5 p.m. Explore Hale Library by visiting our interactive stations. The first 150 students will receive a free T-shirt.

At Weigel Library:

  • Weigel Library Lego Competition, Aug. 23-27. Sign up to compete for your chance to be the 2021 Weigel Library Lego Champion, 81 Regnier Hall.
  • Weigel Library: Explore the World of Design, Aug. 26 from noon to 2 p.m. Come learn about Weigel Library's collection and services through fun, interactive booths. Prizes and refreshments available for the first 50 patrons who complete all the stations.

At the Math/Physics Library:

  • Discover the Math/Physics Library, Aug. 26 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Stop by K-State's Math/Physics Library in 105 Cardwell Hall to learn about the collection and services.
