Nominate an outstanding employee for the Libraries staff awards

Submitted by Darchelle Martin

Do you know a K-State Libraries employee who goes the extra mile for you, your colleagues, your students or your classmates? Show your support by nominating them for the Libraries annual staff awards.

Nominations are due by Jan. 15, 2020. One library employee from each classification — faculty, professional and support staff — will receive recognition and a monetary award. Two of the awards are sponsored by the Friends of the K-State Libraries.

"As library staff, we are here to serve the campus and community," said Renee Gates, IT coordinator and chair of the awards committee. "We care deeply about our ability to help others. Even if someone doesn't win an award, hearing how they impacted others means a lot."

More information including a full list of eligible employees can be found online.
