Planning to give a poster presentation of your research or scholarly project this semester? Register for Poster Presentations 101 from 2:30-3:30 p.m. Oct. 9 in Wildcat Chamber of the K-State Student Union.

Theresa Merrick, instructor in English and part of the Writing Center, will share information on how to effectively design a poster that is visually appealing and well-organized. Attendees will also learn how to present written, graphic, and oral content that can be easily understood and has an impact on diverse audiences.

This session may be especially useful for graduate students who plan to give their first poster presentation this semester, but more experienced graduate students may also learn new strategies for improving their presentation skills.
