Student organization receives Bronze Chapter Honors

Submitted by Jeridy Oetken

The local K-State Speech-Language-Hearing Association, a registered student organization, earned Bronze Chapter Honors from the National Speech-Language-Hearing Association Executive Council.

By earning Bronze Chapter Honors, the K-State chapter demonstrated that the future of the professions in the area of communication sciences and disorders is filled with strong leaders who are committed to serving and advocating for their clients.

The K-State chapter helped to increase awareness of communication sciences and disorders and participated in advocacy efforts with state and federal legislators.
