Invested faculty meeting is 3 p.m. Sept. 24
The first invested faculty, or faculty over 50, meeting of the fall semester will be 3-5 p.m. Sept. 24 in the Cats Pause Lounge on the second floor of the K-State Student Union. Frank Tracz, director of bands, will be our speaker.
"The world's a mess and it's up to us to change it!" is the title of Tracz talk. Please take this opportunity to hear Tracz, who is internationally recognized for his motivational speeches. You will laugh, learn and leave with ideas to use in your teaching. He will bring a pep band along just for fun.
Rebecca Gould from the Information Technology Assistance Center, or iTAC, will present a Tech Teaching Tip, including an app that will useful for us all. Esther Swilley will share some ideas from her year as coordinator of the New Faculty Institute.
We will have door prizes, chips and salsa and more. All are invited. See you on Sept. 24.
