Upcoming professional development opportunity: Evaluating the Scholarship of Engagement
The Engagement Scholarship Consortium is a network of higher-ed member institutions with a goal to collaboratively build strong university-community partnerships anchored in the rigor of scholarship and build community capacity.
As a member institution of consortium, K-State faculty, staff and students have access to webinars, online professional development and networking opportunities throughout the year.
Register for the next virtual professional development opportunity, Evaluating the Scholarship of Engagement, from 11 a.m. to noon CDT on May 8.
Lorilee Sandmann, professor emerita of the University of Georgia and former director of the National Review Board for the Scholarship of Engagement, will discuss evaluation of the scholarship of engagement. This session will support scholars who are preparing community-engaged portfolios for promotion and tenure review as well as reviewers of these portfolios. Register for the online professional development opportunity.
