Equipment checkout website updated with photos, details

Submitted by Betsy Edwards

The equipment checkout website — sponsored by the Information Technology Assistance Center — has been updated with photos and more details on all the equipment available for checkout to K-Staters, including digital and still cameras, video recorders, audio recorders, laptops, sound systems and more.

Each type of equipment has its own information page with:

  1. Photos of the equipment and accessories
  2. Checkout list
  3. "Best used for" section that highlights optimum uses
  4. Requirements or limitations

For example, digital cameras typically require K-Staters to provide their own media storage such as a USB flash drive. A Canon Powershot G10 still camera requires users to provide an SD card.

For more information:

  • Visit the equipment checkout website.
  • To reserve equipment, call 785-532-4918 or email itacrecp@k-state.edu.
  • Stop by the office at 214 Hale Library, adjacent to the Information Technology Help Desk, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday during the summer. The fall office hours are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
